Engaging people and challenging expectations.

The partnership with DESIGNwith began with a discussion around the making of simple furniture pieces by anyone and for anyone explored initially as the cm21 collection. Presented with the opportunity to be involved with the Incubator, a new set of requirements for furniture along with new collaborators, combined to create a new collection with a specific focus.

Our Design Incubator welcomes students, resident designers and marginalized community members to research, learn, and share this exploration through classes, exhibits and workshops.
